Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students in grades 6 through 12 within a K-12 school setting in the Charleston, SC area. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 12th and offers a structured school-day schedule from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m.
Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language interventions to support middle and high school students. The caseload involves working closely with students to address communication disorders to help improve their academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings with a caseload across grades 6-12
- Knowledge of speech-language assessment and therapeutic techniques aligned with school-based goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, educators, and families
